Rutland Recreation and Parks Accepting Performer Applications for 2026 Seven to Sunset Concert Series

The Rutland Recreation and Parks Department is now accepting applications from musical performers interested in being part of the beloved Seven to Sunset Concert Series during the summer of 2026 at Main Street Park.

The Seven to Sunset Concert Series is a long-standing summertime tradition in Rutland City, bringing free live music to the community in a relaxed outdoor setting. The 2026 series will kick off on Wednesday, June 24, with concerts held every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Main Street Park, located at 5 South Main Street, Rutland, VT.

In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be rescheduled to designated rain dates on August 5 or August 12, 2026. Please note that there is no indoor venue available for this series.

The City of Rutland will provide all sound equipment for selected performers. Musicians who wish to use their own sound equipment must receive prior approval. Requests and questions regarding equipment should be directed to April Cioffi at seventosunset@rutlandrec.com.

Applications will be accepted through February 11, 2026. The final list of selected performers will be notified via email by February 27, 2026. Submission of an application does not guarantee placement in the concert series. All performers will be selected following a review of all applications received.

Musicians of all genres are encouraged to apply and help continue this cherished Rutland summer tradition.
